Our Mission

Jeevan Sahara is committed to a two pronged approach to seeing HIV care in Thane. Firstly, we are engaged in practically developing models of care under a strategy of home-based care which have direct benefit to the people with HIV we are ministering to which can be used by other groups in other places too. These models include intensive counselling, rational medical care, and compassionate end-of-life care for people with HIV/AIDS. At the same time, we want to help equip local fellowships with the tools to make HIV care a part and parcel of what it means to live out the love of Christ through the local assembly. We do this through meetings with local churches, prayer mobilisation and training of church partners in HIV care.
